Volunteers who come to Kilimanjaro to work at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Mzalendo Primary School & Kindergarten get an all-inclusive package* that includes 3 good meals also on your days off work. Plus free daily transport to from your place of work and free transport from Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO upon your arrival and departure.

Volunteering work gives real satisfaction seeing the skills you have already learned help the underprivileged. Volunteering work experiences really are the perfect way to start off your careers as international experiences are invaluable and put life into perspective when you return to your home country.

Our Volunteers work 4 hours a day from 09:00 to 13:00, 5 days a week with Saturday & Sunday free. Volunteers can apply to work for a period of 2 to 24 weeks. During free time volunteers can choose between a wide range of world famous adventures such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or going on Safari.

    Mzalendo Primary School in Kilimanjaro require the following Volunteers:

    - Primary School teaching English.

  • 2
    Mzalendo Kindergarden in Kilimanjaro require the following Volunteers:

    Pedagogy in early childhood.

    St. Joseph Hospital require volunteers in the following departments:

    - Medical
    - Dental
    - Eyes
    - Radiology
    - Nursing

    St. Joseph Nursing College require teaching volunteers:

    - Teachers for St Joseph’s Nursing College

    St. Joseph Construction require construction managers

    St. Jospeh hospital do not have a construction department and they need Construction management volunteers to supervise hospital building maintenance and the construction of a 5 storey extension building that is under construction.
    - Construction management to work as client advisors
    - Construction management to work with building maintenance

Prices for Volunteers in 2024

Full board prices for volunteers in our lovely hotel in Kilimanjaro are 270 kr. / night for 2 people in a dbl. room with a private bathroom. (135 kr. each).
Example: 30 nights costs 8.100 kr. for 2 people (4.050 kr. each)

– Airport pick up from/return to JRO Kilimanjaro International Airport (approx. a one hour drive in our bus). Note: You book and pay for your own flights to/from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
